Hi, I noticed this abrasion on the side of my betta fish . Any recommendation and what I could do to treat it , like medication or dosage amount for the aquarium salt?
I will do water changes every other day until this clears up to keep it clean
Currently in a 10 gal tank, temp 78-80, and I just did a 25% water change and nitrates/nitrites / ammonia are at 0

You’re doing everything correctly, methylene blue and tannins can help with the healing process especially since the cut is so large. Just a suggestion but salt will work as well. It will heal on its own as scary as it looks, do you know how they were injured?
