I’ve had this setup going for about 6 months now (wish I had thought to take progress pictures along the way) but I’m pretty happy with how it’s turned out, just wanted to see what this community thought of it!
P.S. don’t mind the gunk on the glass, I lost my razor scraper that I normally use to clean it!

i would put abit of driftwood and a catapa leaf underit to get a more blackwater effect for your betta. It’ll also make him feel more comfortable with the water
However, your current plants might not farewell with blackwater as light would not be able to reach them. so u can try plants like anubias which has a rhizome and attach it to driftwood with some fishing line.
try googles some blackwater aquarium setup and you’ll know what i mean
apart from that nice setup!
you can also try giving your next aquascape abit of height dimension at the corner to make it more 3D-ish 😂
