Randomly found an open space around some bushes at a local river and decided to fish there. I caught and released roughly 30 tilapia ranging from 2” to maybe 6-7” in size. I would cast and within seconds get a bite. It didn’t seem like the tilapia were going after my bait at all. I used a total of four red worms to catch 30 tilapia within a couple hours (probably a total of one hour actually fishing for tilapia since I was messing with my catfish setup at the same time). Is this typical behavior of a tilapia “bed”?
