My kid lost the zipper pull on her sneaker. I rigged this up and I feel like a freaking fishing MacGyver.
Been doing some serious exploring lately (new truck new fishing kayak). Finally tried the conservation area two mins from my house. Hit a 4 pounder on a buzz bait.

I would let it drift right along the seam
