GOT HER FLOATING!!! Fished for a while with shad schooling , was a struggle to get a bite, but eventually got this little guy up by a dock edge as he was chasing the shad schools, couldn’t be happier. The marine jb weld works wonders. Ended up getting a 120 ah marine battery that’s dual purpose, tempted to go trade it for a 175 that’s just deep cycle just to be safe. Trolling motor worked like a breeze. Lost a little $30 diawa samurai rod off the back end when I had it rested it. Think a catfish yoinked it (buying rod holders asap, learned the lesson with the cheap rod thankfully)
Not sure if a deck is in the future for this 10 foot boat. A fish finder with side scan definitely will be though. Thank you all for all of the advice.
