I’d probably throw that big of a plug on a medium heavy. I want to launch my spooks to the moon, and I wouldn’t feel comfortable with anything more than a lobbing an ounce on a medium rod
And unless I’m bombing things into a stiff headwind, my DC reel never gets used. That’s the only application I think they’re ever useful for. I’d swap it out for a chronarch mgl
