10 gallon tank

Occupants:

Betta (Vivi, had him for ~3 months)

Mystery snail (Mr Honey, none of the snails were present for this photoshoot)

2 nerite snails (thinking of moving one to another tank once it is set up and matured)

~4 adult neocaridina shrimp and a number of juveniles

And bladder snails. attempted to get rid of them initially but I’ve given that up and learned to like/accept them

Some notes: I’ve had 3 tanks for about 2 years, but I’ve made a lot of amateur mistakes and have torn down/rebuilt them a few times, namely due to scuds, who decimated my plants previously. I underestimated my plant growth now that I’m scud free, and their growth has been explosive over the last few months.

My betta seems happy enough, he explores all over and has lots of leaves he can rest on.

Yes, this is overboard on plants. But is that a bad thing? Not at all! Can’t have too many plants, especially with a betta!
