The afternoon was kind of slow, with only a few medium size fish on a streamer. Once dusk crept in, they eased up and I consecutively caught a 19" and 17". After seeing some sporadic rises to bugs and crashing baitfish, I tied on a gurgler variation and caught some on top.
The icing on the cake was my boss calling me to tell me I got promoted.
