I used to go fishing with my grandpa all the time but 2 years ago he passed away and I want to go fishing again for him but it’s been hard and somehow I didn’t learn very much from all the times I went. Does anyone know what these rods are set up for? We live in Washington if that helps. I have his boat but I don’t have the license so if someone could also tell me if these can be used to fish off the bank.

Kokanee I would say. I’m also in Washington and those are pretty standard set ups. Unfortunately Kokanee mostly feed at 30 to 60 feet so most people are going to use a boat and downrigger
