23 inches 4 1/2 lbs. had a great time this morning, went out well before sunrise and didn’t get home until after 10am. I’ve never had much luck fishing at night, but I’ll be trying it a lot more after catching this dude. The only large bass I hooked into was probably a 3+ pounder or so and he bullied me ripping drag all the way to a floating pier and wrapped itself around a pole before shaking off. The fight and the cat made the trip well worth it.
