Do you guys play with toys with your betta? I don’t have any but I stick my face up to the glass and peer in menacingly and he loves it. Sometimes he follows my finger and he likes when the cat hangs out and rubs on his tank. He has a snail and some shrimp friends but besides occasionally bumping into each other they don’t really hang out. Sometimes we feed him with bloodworms and he likes the chase if we spread them around.
He’s a really fun and active guy and I’d love to help him have more fun! I saw people using currents and their bettas would swim upstream and loved it. What else can we do?
