I got my betta fish in march and he keeps changing colors? it's starting to concern me with how much he does it and how he went from a dark blue to a pink/light blue? the first picture was in march 2nd was in april 3rd was in june 4th was in end of august and last is today

Marble gene, they just do that
I had a little lady that started out mostly bright purple, with a few white/pinkish spots and in those lighter spots she had purple freckles, the same color as the majority of her body.
I went to bed one night with a bright ass purple fish, and woke up to a fish that was all white.
It was one of the wildest things I’ve ever seen in an aquarium, and I’ve been keeping fish for more than 20 years LOL
All that to say changing colors is normal, especially if they have any koi or marble genes. There are some changes that are gradual and others almost instantaneous. The changes that are gradual go through more colors than the instantaneous ones. Just keep an eye on things and make sure you’re not seeing any change in behavior or any injuries☺️
Marbling is a fascinating gene, he’ll change colors all his life, don’t worry about it.
Also, he’s in very good shape, i rarely see a long, full-sun fin-type with fins this healthy! 😀
