All time day this past weekend!

Had a crazy day this past weekend! Hiked 7 miles in the middle of the night to hit our zone before sunrise. No bites in the morning. Tried to nap but it was too hot so I went out exploring/casting again. Ended up getting hit on the top water popper at 1:30 pm, and again at 2:30 and 4. I have never had a single bite in between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm in my time of fishing for uluas (giant trevally). Of course didn’t have the GoPro, as I did not expect to see any fish in the middle of the day 🥴. Lost an absolute monster (60+ lbs). My buddy was also able to land a nice one during the say. Blew my mind! All fish tagged and released
