As long as treble hooks are legal than yes. If you’re doing catch and release I’d pinch the barbs on the hook and get a small net for trout.

I’d ditch the treble, and get a net or learn to handle fish in a less harmful way. Holding them up from the hook isn’t good for the fish, especially as trout are more fragile than other species.

This is a better way to handle trout, keeping the fish in the water the entire time.
