I'm in western NC and our community was absolutely fucked by Helene. Obviously I have a lot going on with clean up and helping my neighbors, but I'm about to get furloughed, and will have some extra time and could honestly use the distraction.
The spillway for the lake/reservoir that I usually fish was wide open during the storm and the water is pretty gross at the moment. Do you think it would even be worth trying right now? I've never fished after an event like this.
