THIS. This right here is the heart of the sub. Not the arguments. Not the down talk. Not the ideas people aren’t good to each other. This right here. Kudos to you all for rallying. Super epic and proud of you all. You’re a great group.
How do you spool your reels with braid? Do you use a mono backing, electrical tape, tie to spool and walk off? Posted by xenostrat
NicePumasKid on October 2, 2024 9:06 pm Huh? Braid is normally the backing and then you use Fluro as your leader line for a lot of applications.
mikeyd69 on October 2, 2024 9:08 pm I’ve been using 60 pound Sunline FX2 for a couple years now and couldn’t be happier with it.
mistersinister12 on October 2, 2024 9:15 pm Yep back with mono or flouro, anything you got laying around haha.
SaltyKayakAdventures on October 2, 2024 9:16 pm On that reel, I would just tie the braid though two of holes in the spool and load it on.
Dayday7414 on October 2, 2024 9:18 pm I just straight braid , arbor knot to spool tape it off and reel her up. 8 foot leader knot of Floro at the top.
UndergroundFisherman on October 2, 2024 9:18 pm Always do. Fish it through one of those holes and out another, small cinch knot and you’re golden.
