I found a few white bass today while chasing largemouth on topwater!

Got out right at sunrise and it was absolutely gorgeous. Not sure of the water temp but I would say mid 70's to low 70's but the air temp was 51 this morning. I had the wind in my face and there were so many shad around but little activity from predators

Reel – abu garcia revo S with 12 lb mono
Rod – 7'2" carbonlite medium action fast tip
Lure – can't remember the brand but 4 inch spook style topwater in a gizzard shad pattern

One hit in a cove and the other was in open water over a school of shad. A very very slow bite today!
