Hi all. After all experimentation and money savings, i have finally setup a new home for my Chitha (my mom named him after my late uncle).

A layer of garden soil + natural river soil (no fertilisers used in these soil) and covered it with decorative white sand. Added few small gravel beneath to lock the bacteria in (as suggested by few youtubers)

I have gone all way natural and so I didn’t add any sort of chemicals in it. The water comes straight from the falls nearby my hometown and it’s safe. (No harmful chemicals in it).
As for plants, i got all beginner friendly plants except for the red plant (got it by accident). Most are stem plants except for Valisnaria and water trumpets.
Planning to introduce some snails from a local water source nearby.

P.s my aquascaping skills are noob level. Sourced everything from my backyard. (Cleaned well before using them)

Would really appreciate any kind of suggestions for good plant growth and further maintenance of this new setup.
