Caught these near a stocked pond (stocked with brook trout). There is a stream with a healthy brook trout population flowing through the pond.
I’m pretty sure the pale fish is stocked…but the other one?
Pond was stocked in May, caught at end of September

Sharp tails on both, I think the coloring it throwing it off, but probably both wild
Don’t you guys cut the adipose fin in stocked fish to know? At least over here (Finland) there are different minimums for stocked and native fish etc. so all stocked fish have it cut to separate them.
Do hatcheries stock Brook Trout? I always thought they were native…
If the fins flare out or looks sharp, it’s a wild trout
