I’m new to being serious about fishing this summer. I’ve done a little bit growing up, but never really learned a ton. I have watched a decent amount of YouTube, but feel like the ones I’ve watched leave a lot out that a beginner needs to have context for. I’d love to have some good recommendations for ways to learn. I feel like a lot of things are passed down from experienced fishermen, but I don’t really have that.

The picture is my bass from Sunday afternoon. It was raining and probably about 70°F. I caught it on a black and white jitterbug. It was really cool to see it strike on the top of the water. Definitely a thrill.
