It was the morning of Thursday September 26th. Hurricane Helene's track just shifted west and the eye was projected to make landfall about 60 miles west of us. My hospital foolishly decided to NOT activate the disaster relief teams so I was not obligated to stay. We left my town at 1030 and got to myrtle beach SC asap.
Sunday we went fishing and thank goodness the storm didn't hit us and ruin the trip. The storm actually cancelled all of the Saturday trips. We used Crazy Sisters Marina in Murrels inlet. The crew was superb. We did an 11hr all day semi-private trip. We caught almost 60lbs of fish. Catch of the day was a massive graysby grouper and amber jack they are pictured on the table.
It was such a good time and if you've never been on a deep-sea fishing charter, I strongly recommend it.

TL;DR: Gud fish. Gud time. No cane. I like crazy sisters marina.
