Just got this Edge rod that I ordered like 9 months ago. Back then I was still inexperienced and wanted a longer bait caster. The site list it as a flip rod but up in the urban Midwest I don’t really do too much of that nor am I pulling out 7lb bass lmao. What bait caster size, line type, and lures would you guys recommend? I do have easy access to one of the Great Lakes and a river. I am open to catch whatever I takes the bait.
