I got my betta last week and I’m dealing with a little fin tearing going on from before I got him so Ive been keeping a close eye but Im noticing he’s a little heavy looking? I fasted him yesterday and today he unfortunately got three pellets and some of the sinking wafer for the shrimps.
Is this just bloat? Or the beginning of dropsy? Or he’s just fat?
I have catappa leaves but I can add more and I kept him at 75F but Im slowly upping the temperature now

I’m sorry I don’t know the answer I just wanted to say how beautiful he is. Truly majestic
He looks skinny but bloated.. I’d try some Daphnia for the bloating and then feed him regularly once his belly isn’t swollen
