this is my 1.5 year old female black tiger badis. this was very rapidly onset- she was fine one day, twitching like this the next 🙁 she's in a hospital tank at the moment, but her real tank's parameters are 0ppm ammonia, 0ppm nitrite, somewhere between 5-10pm nitrate, and 6.0 ph. i'm devastated. ive treated with a few separate things over the last few days, and nothing has worked. i can only surmise that it might be parasites? maybe gill flukes? if anyone has any idea id really appreciate it 🙁

That action is called flashing which is the equivalent to us scratching when we have an itch. Clearly something is irritating the fish. Do 50% water change, and maybe a tonic salt bath. See how it goes.
