Caught my new PB at the end of a slow morning in SE Minnesota. After 4 hours and half-a-dozen 12-13” largies, I hooked into this chunk at the base of a submerged tree trunk.
Caught it on my 7’ ML St. Croix Mojo Yak with a tiny child rig (4” z-man Big TRD with a 1/8 nail weight in the nose and t-rigged on a #2 VMC neko finesse hook). I use 15lb braid to 8lb fluorocarbon leader. Pulled a good bit of drag on me.
Feet blurred because my buddies give me a hard time when my hogs are in fish pics.
