After seeing a bunch of them on here I decided to put a sweet potato in my tank about a month ago. If finally has a little root but it also has this clear jelly? Is that where a stem is about to pop out or should I remove this from my aquarium?

Is it not just biofilm? I can’t see anything from the photo but my water propagating normally attract some biofilm
