I wanted to ask you

I have a couple of hours to spare today after work I’m going to one of my 2 go to fishing places 😎👌🏾
I’m in Texas so by the season / weather which one you guys recommend and what should I throw in using a
Medium – light 6.5 ft rod 4pounds mono 🎣

I have caught some in the first one but I haven’t in the second. 🤔 also wish me luck 😎 thank you! Blessed day to all
