Here’s your answer.
I got up this morning and fished for an hour near a good sized local pond that is connected to other ponds by just one drain. I knew that drain would be flowing hard after a good rain and full of bait. I only brought one rod with a small 3” spunk shad on a gamakatsu range roller 1/8oz jig head with a 1/0 hook. Got about 20 fish in an hour. Nothing too big but also caught my first two crappie ever so that was cool.
Would’ve done even better if it weren’t for at least 10 gators in the immediate area, including two bigger ones hanging out right by the drain. Had to dodge them to fish but still got it done. Good ole bass thumb before breakfast.
