Gonna get some plants and a heater tomorrow, it’s a 50 gallon and I picked it up for $200 with the tank and stand, filter, sand, wood, and some other stuff. I would like to get some honey gouramis, kuhli loaches, a shit load of shrimp and maybe a mystery snail. I’m new to aquariums aside from having a guppy tank as a kid so I don’t know what fish work together well and what don’t. If anyone has some recommendations for stocking this tank that would be great. Also plant recommendations are needed, I’d like to have a ton of plants in here. Thank you!

I wouldnt recommend adding shrimp if you want to also add fish, because you can only take peacfull fish. The honey guramis are great i have eight of them and they are peacfull. I also have a 50 gallon tank with 4 shrimp in it and i didnt know that you can only have peacefull fish with them what in the end limited the fish i coule put in what was fucked up because i wanted to have some guppis (sorry for the bad english im german😂)
