I've been on a work assignment up in Iowa for a couple months, and they have not been biting at all, but I guess that's finally changing. Caught these in like thirty-minutes this evening. Also, I snagged my plug in a plant behind me while rearing back for a toss, and this was the plant, which was hilarious.
Anyway, all caught on a cheapish Abu Garcia combo I bought up here. 20-pound braid with 15-lb fluoro leader on a brown Berkley Choppo. That little crappie wasn't much bigger than the lure, but he was quite ambitious.
