And what in the hell do you do with them?
Many many years of accumulation…
What's funny is for at least ten years of accumulation I owned a bandsaw, which I gave to a wood working friend, but still threw them into the rafters, when I could broken them down for trash.
There's always a dump run but wondering if there's a worthwhile use for them?

I have a friend who straps them together to make a rig that keeps his rod tips from tangling/rattling against each other when he brings multiple rods with him on road trips. I think he cuts them in half first so only the tip-half of the rods are in separate tubes.
Personally they just go straight into the recycling for me. I do wait until I’ve used the rod to make sure there are no defects that would require me to send it back.
I have started using my sawzall and cutting them in half and either throwing them away or making something out of them.
I know this doesn’t answer your question, but I submerge them under water (1-2ft at a time) and then tear them apart by hand on garbage day.
