I bought these for targeting salmon in the Great Lakes and now that I’m back home in Rhode island I was wondering if I can use them for largemouth.

They rattle and swim 2 to three feet deep. But I need to reel pretty fast to get them to swim deep. Storm thunderstick lures

  2. Definitely not too big but hopefully you’re on a boat because deep diving cranks are going to be a serious pain in the ass to fish from shore.

Not at all, largemouths have – wait for it – large mouths. I’ve had fish go after lures bigger than they are.

These will be totally fine, largemouth have eyes bigger than their stomachs, and like a below poster said, will definitely go after stuff even bigger than they are.
