Good lord hatchery fish are dumb, but such an important memory. Rockbridge MO charges $125 for a catch and release day or $35 plus $6/lb to clean and package what you catch.
When I say dumb, I mean I could have caught them on a shoelace and bottle cap in about the same amount of time.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I went through the same with my mom and I started fly fishing a few months after she passed. I think it was one of the things that kept me relatively sane.
This place got me hooked on fishing as a kid. So many great memories!
