Rob’s Two Tanks! – Plus NVS Aquarium Lids

Rob has been busy since we last visited, not only does he have an awesome eight foot long mixed reef with a huge custom Seatorch PVC sump, he has now expanded out to a second fish-only Cade 2100 to house all those non-reef safe fish.

With the best of both worlds, who could ask for more!?

Thanks to NVS Aquariums for making some of the best custom polycarbonate tank lids around! For more information on getting a custom lid made for your tank (custom or off the shelf), reach out to Nick via his website here:

  1. I had the same scare buddy, i have the s2 2100 also and I drained half the water asap and was straight on the phone. Adam was great to talk to and calmed my nerves instantly. Great Video Sam cheers mate!πŸ‘

  2. Sam, greetings from Arizona. Thanks for another awesome video. The footage is absolutely beautiful and so clear. It's awesome to see another hobbies have a great respect for his fish. They should be loved and cared for just as much as a dog or cat. Keep up the great Sam. Rob, absolutely amazing tanks and I really can't wait to see the fish only tank again soon!!!!

  3. Both tanks are absolutely amazing and home quite the powerhouse selection of fish and corals! During the part where wrasses were discussed, the species at 21:20 was highlighted but their name wasn't mentioned, you happen to catch the name of it?

  4. Coral selection, gear and especially the fish…. Wow, What a tank! That middle ledge could make for a great grafted Monti and highly recommend throwing a bit of GSP or some aggressive Zoa in that fish only to help with some Bio removal as well. It seems nutty, but as those fish get bigger and bigger that nutrient export is so nice to have and really helps the overall load, kinda fresh water mentality in a way. Well done SamπŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

  5. I would suggest using more broll of the tank and systems instead of showing the owner so much. We love the tank owners but it's more enjoyable to watch the fish/corals. Love the content, keep it up!

  6. The second aquarium is cool, I loved the angel fish. I have a 200 gal tank, only fish with coralline algae on all the rocks. It looks luxurious over time. The only thing that needs to happen is that tank matures and becomes full of coralline, that tsnke with kh. tall and good lighting you will have coralina I hope you see my videos. I also have a very good aquascaping, I tried it, that is good in the aquarium to have good circulation, greetings, I hope to see more videos of that angel fish tank πŸ’―πŸ‘Œ

  7. Great video Sam! Thanks for sharing Rob! The wrasse at 21.50 in the video looks to be a Dusky Wrasse (Halichoeres marginatus). Not so sure of the big wrasse you were discussing before it though.
