My wife and I have a 17 foot boat so I’m limited to inland bays, not confident I can make it out in the big lake, but they were all caught on East Bay, Grand Traverse Bay, Michigan between early August and early September. Meat rigs seemed to be the most effective, but I also used flasher flies and spoons (plugs didn’t catch a damn thing).
