Betta Fish: Fish in NYC needs new home

Hi all,

Apologies if this isn’t the usual sort of post here, but my partner (along with the entirety of her department) was laid off from her job this week. Pictured above is Kevin, the office fish she was basically the sole caretaker for. We’re looking to find him a new home. We unfortunately can’t take him in ourselves because our cat would go goblin mode if we brought a fish home.

Kevin has a fully furnished home, a pump and filter, and all the necessary care items. My partner has been extremely active in his care and done lots of research to make sure he’s a healthy happy boy.

We have until next Friday, when my partner loses access to her office, to find a new parent for Kevin. He’s currently located in midtown Manhattan.

Please let me know if you think you’d be able to adopt him.
