I’m in my 40s and a few months ago I got super into aquariums and fish with dreams of someday having a large saltwater predator tank. But I knew I needed to start slow and my wife suggested I get a betta as they’re pretty easy.
I set up a 10 gallon planted tank and introduced him about a week ago and he seems to be having a good time even if he does [look grumpy](https://i.imgur.com/9boeH3F.jpg) a lot of the time. He did scare the crap out of me the first night because of all a sudden I couldn’t find him it turned out he was just [sleeping on the heater.](https://i.imgur.com/zu2yPWI.jpg)
