Mepps spinners will catch most predator species, the challenge sometimes is getting it to the right part of the water column and reeling it at the right speed.

Put those on a lighter setup and you can catch just about anything. Great for trout, perch, bass, bluegill, pickerel, crappie, etc. very versatile lures
