I hear ya brother, last night I caught one as the sun was going down that absolutely slurped my swim jig. Was chucking a 3/8 strike king tour grade swim jig with a 4.75 rage swimmer and only the jighead was sticking out of the ~2 pounders mouth. Hungry lil bastard WANTED it haha. I fucked up bad though, a couple casts later I really put some oomph into it to bomb it and backlashed and broke off at the leader knot. They’re drawing the water down so I’m crossing my fingers eventually I’ll be able to walk out and get it. It’s already down a decent amount so I’m thinking about going over this weekend and going around and scavenging lures/picking up trash
