Yesterday would have been my Dad’s 79th birthday. He taught us everything about fishing. How to tie a line and wait patiently for a bite. In his final days, we took him out one last time. We cast the line for him, but he insisted on reeling in the fish himself. That simple moment meant everything.

I’m sorry for your loss. Sounds like some great memories you’ll carry on your journey.
May his memory be eternal. Thanks for sharing the moment with us. As a fisherman myself, I can’t imagine a better way to go.
