Agreed…lake trout…if you’re going to do catch and release try not to put the fish on the ground it screws up their muccus on the skin…best way is to hold by the lip…or get your hands wet and gently hold the body…when releasing put back in the water and move the fish around a bit until it starts to swim off on its own
