Since I mainly fish at night due to work schedule, I just wanted to show anyone considering the same that it can be quite enjoyable, relaxing, and still land decent fish.

Some points for budget fishing, and general tips:

-koolaid powder and garlic definitely works. Prefer cherry powder, followed by tropical punch. Single-serve powders are not as effective.

-chicken gizzard is very cheap and will last hours without needing to renew bait. The pictures attached are all fish caught on gizzards, koolaid and garlic in the past six months or so.

-Find a cross current in rivers for more action. Happy to elaborate if needed.

-Get a comfy chair, unless you fall asleep easily lol.

-rechargeable blacklights are fairly cheap and can really help with the experience.

My best fishing is at night. When it’s pitch black the Zander wake up and hunt pretty aggressively I read online lures don’t really work at night but they do.

I wish we had catfish I know of a secret pond with tiny catfish but nothing over a pound
