I want to make a good betta environment, I don’t have a lot of room (only 3 gal) so I don’t want to add much and over crowd him. Are there any little things I could add to make it a more comfortable environment? I may upgrade to a bigger tank, 5-10 gal in the future but for now this is all I have.

Maybe a little float/perch near the top for him to nap on and be close to the surface for a quick breath
