We went to a local pond here, it was my daughter’s second time ever going fishing. Didn’t catch anything the first time which was last weekend, but this time I came prepared with live nightcrawlers for bait. She caught one on her second cast, before I could even get my rod rigged up! They’re all dinks, tiny little guys no bigger than about 8” long but they hit hard and fight like hell for their size. Core childhood memory unlocked!
