This super overgrown urban pond hides these pretty descent largemouth bass. I lost my diy tackle of 2 small hooks and a sinker completely entangled in the weeds.
Any recommendations on how to avoid pulling kilograms of weeds when retrieving? TYIA

Texas rigged soft plastic would be a main one. could also try punching those mats with a big weight (1-2oz) in front of the T-rig. also a weedless topwater like a frog.
