It’s fairly murky, greenish water and I’ve no idea how deep it runs after the bank. Banks and shallows are all pretty rocky. This is how the lakes are where I live and I keep getting skunked. I’ve tried Texas rigged plastic worms; lures (which I usually lose); top water frogs; live worms & meat on a bobber; jigheads; spinners; all amount to a good ol skunk sesh, no matter the time of day (94 night) I can see the bastards jumping all around the lake and I tire of them mocking me. Any help for an amateur angler?

Jig head with a white plastic swim bait, bounce it off the bottom.
Probably carp if you can see them all the time but aren’t catching them on lures. I’d consider switching locations. If you wanna stay there, cast small swim baits / spinners up and down the bank. Don’t cast the lures out straight towards you. While doing that, rig another line up with a worm and cast it into the deeper water to see if there’s anything at all that’ll bite. Goodluck.

You can always Cast Da Mepps!
If there are bass in there I would throw a squarebill crank bait, a red pattern would probably work really well this time of year.
Retrieve it so that it dives down and bounces off the rocks. It can feel like bites when this happens and you may get caught up a bit, but it can be super effective. You’ll get a feel for what is a rock and what is a fish after a few of them.
Bobber and minnows or Rebel crawdad, ditch color.
