Photo is from a day on the Skagit a couple weeks ago.

I have a trip to Namibia and South Africa coming up in December and I'd like to get out fly fishing for one day while I'm there. I'm used to trout fishing in BC so hoping for something different in terms of fish/technique/scenery etc.

It seems like cape town will be the best starting point and my options will be salt water fishing for yellowtail or dry fly fishing streams for trout and maybe yellow fish. I'm already planning to do some conventional salt fishing in Durban, so I'm leaning towards to stream option.

Any recommendations on the best use of my day? Planning to be guided regardless.
