I’ve lurked here for a little while. But when I was younger my folks had bought kayaks so we could all go paddling. Now as an adult I want to take it back up and also get more fishing opportunities than just bank fishing. So I’ve wanted to restore at the very least the kayak I had growing to get started with that. It’s a Hurricane Phoenix 140. Most of the restoration should be cosmetic and replacing handles and bungee cords, but this foot rail rusted out and I’m assuming the other has as well. Has anyone repaired something like this before and what did you do?
