The thing is you’ll be casting all day. You want a light reel, size 3000/4000 max.
I don’t know the size of your reel, but it might be heavy and require a lot of braid (but it’s ok you can use mono backing).
Do not really worry about corrosion resistance, but clean it well after each outing.
