What's the word on this reel? I'm hoping to keep it around the $100 area. 6:2:1 gear ratio, reviewed fairly well. What do you guys say? Any alternative recommendations?
U can get a high gear Daiwa Fuego CS on Ali express for 60-70 dollars which is probably your best option. Just buy from a reputable seller with 97%+ positive feedback and a higher number of sales. Should take a week or two to get it.

Is this a good way to get one? Looks like the same reel but $20 cheaper and comes with a med/light rod
Fished all summer with this reel and I have no complaints save for a piece of fake chrome trim that fell off of the knob that tightens the handle
Worth the money IMO
